Spin class is a fun cardiovascular, no impact workout using a stationary bicycle. Your instructor will simulate a variety of sprinting and hill climbing drills enabling you to build your cardiovascular fitness, muscle strength and endurance. Classes are for all levels, beginners to advanced, as you are in control of your resistance level on your bike and how hard you want to work in class. Spin training is a great accompaniment to any fitness program or sport including running, swimming, cycling and triathlon.
Balls/Weights/Spin
This is a muscle and cardiovascular conditioning circuit workout that
utilizes full body movements and focuses on muscle endurance to condition
and tone your entire body and develop overall fitness. A HIGH CALORIE BURNER.
Beginner and advanced students will enjoy a practice that strengthens the immune system, calms the nervous system, invigorates and refreshes a tired mind and body and enhances relaxation and wellbeing.
Hatha Yoga - Vinyasa Flow includes breathing exercises, sun salutations and a continuous flow of postures (asanas) consisting of standing sitting and lying series designed to create balance and restore all systems to health. It is a vigorous class appropriate for all levels of experience.
Restorative yoga - a healing form of Hatha yoga where gentle postures are practiced lying down while the body is comfortably supported with bolsters and blankets.
Guided Meditation - is the new paradigm in mediation for today's busy lifestyles. Guided Meditation is a form of active meditation where you utilize creative visualization via a 'story'. A moderator, in a meditation class will lead you through the meditation. Most meditations will start with deep breathing techniques allowing you to alter your brain waves. Once this is accomplished you will be lead through a very visual experience on any number of different subjects. You may be asked to surround your self with light and work with that light to relax. You may be asked to visualize a beautiful meadow where you will be lead through a task. Guided Meditation works by 'keeping your mind busy' so that you can focus on relaxing, spiritual centering and releasing tension.
Tot Yoga - A program for Mini Yogi's. It is uplifting, non-competitive, mind expanding, and fun. The program was developed for kids to build strength, spirit, and self-esteem.
Through
the practice of yoga postures, learn how to develop tools to manage the pressures
of daily life.
