Personal Training gets results. At Merriott Fitness we can't stress enough, that helping you feel your best is our goal - adding years to your life and life to your years.
Benefits of being physically and mentally active:
IDEA, the International Health and Fitness organization released a statistic that found 75% of people who exercise are not getting the results they want. But out of the 25% of people who are getting results, 90% of them are working with a Personal Trainer.
Private or two client sessions are typically scheduled at the rate of once or twice per week. If you choose to partner up with one of our customers or a friend you must train a minimum of three private sessions prior to the start of the partner training.
Positive lifestyle changes take time; sometimes this does not happen on the first attempt. The average customer will take approximately 12-24 months to accomplish their goals.
If personal training is new to an individual we offer a money back program. When you choose to train at Merriott Fitness it is a team approach and you the customer must be ready to make a commitment. Your program will be based on your level of fitness, goals, available time and level of readiness.
Some equipment is also available at the studio for sale.
Wear loose comfortable clothing that will allow you to stretch and move around. All classes are done in bare feet. It is helpful to dress in layers so that you can easily stay comfortable.
I am an absolute beginner. Do I need to be in great shape to do Yoga?
Level I beginner classes are "user friendly" and designed for individuals who are just getting started and somewhat inflexible. Although a reasonable level of fitness is beneficial when starting yoga, barring any physical illness anyone can do some form of yoga and should gauge their effort or class style accordingly.
Should I pre-register for the classes and when should I pay?
To ensure your spot in a class it is recommended that you pre-register. Class sizes will be limited to 12 participants. Drop-ins and punch pass will be allowed based on available space.
Payment
for all classes is due prior to the start of the first class. This will also
guarantee your spot in the class. We accept debit, visa, cheques and cash.
